The chairperson of the commission, Wafula Chebukati, also banned, voting photographers in polling polls showing whom they chose.

Only authorized journalists will be involved in photography and writing of electoral information by election on August 8, this year. The chairman insisted that the appeal aims to protect the right of the voter to keep his secret in accordance with the Law and to prevent persuading others to vote for a leader who does not want him.
