TOP STORIES High Court Statement on Yusuf Manji's Securities Application

Today, July 26, 2017, the Supreme Court of Tanzania said it intends to start hearing the request for a deposit issued by the famous Tanzanian businessman Yusuf Manji, August 4, 2017.

Judge Isaiah Arufani has said that after State Lawyers Paul Kadushi and Simon Wankyo will accept the application and say they are intent to oppose the judge while saying they agree with their argument on August 4, 2017, the request for the collateral will begin to be heard.

In the application, Yusuf Manji asks the Supreme Court to file a document of denial issued by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) because he has a health problem suffering from heart problems.
